The Montessori Method is an approach to learning that stimulates the child’s interests and facilitates his/her understanding and learning capacities. The Montessori approach is developmental whereby children are challenged, but not frustrated, by the presentation of appropriate learning experiences.
The Montessori philosophy of education is based upon respect for the child and a desire to guide each child so that he/she may become a responsible member of society.
Forever Gymnastics Partners with Redeemer Montessori School and offers gymnastics as an after school class on Tuesdays for boys and girls. The gymnastics classes work on building strength and flexibility leading to skills taught in competitive team gymnastics. The first 15 minutes focuses on strength, cardio, and flexibility training with the next 30 minutes working on 2 Olympic events alternating every other week. The last 10 minutes is used for review, one-on-one training, and/or conditioning.
